The tap is matched to an active staff record. Inactive cards are rejected and flagged. Visitor and contractor taps are ignored, because attendance is for staff only.
03 / 05Check-in timestamped and logged in real time
The exact time of arrival is captured to the second, and the location (campus or building) is recorded automatically. The log cannot be altered after the fact.
04 / 05Late arrival triggers automatic alert
The cut-off time is configured per shift. Any tap after the cut-off triggers a notification to the line manager, HR or principal by app or email.
05 / 05Reports exported for payroll and audit
End-of-month shift reports are generated in one click: hours worked, lateness summary and absence rate, by individual or department. Reports export to PDF or Excel.

NFC Card
A branded plastic NFC card for each staff member, worn on a lanyard or kept in a wallet. Cards are hardware-secured and cannot be cloned. Lost cards are deactivated instantly from the admin panel.
Phone Virtual Card
Staff use their own smartphone as the NFC tag, so no physical card is required. iOS and Android are supported, which suits trial deployments and BYOD environments. Identity is tied to the staff record, not the device.
RFID Card
Legacy RFID card compatibility for sites with existing card infrastructure. Buzzin readers accept both NFC and RFID, so there is no need to re-issue cards on day one, and a phased migration is supported.
