Physical keys remain part of everyday building operations, from service cupboards to plant rooms and shared facilities. The planned Key Management module brings that custody record into the same operational picture as visitors and contractor permits.
The proposed workflow uses NFC-tagged keys, authorised checkout and a live view of availability. Timestamped handovers and overdue alerts are intended to help teams understand who has a key and when it should be returned.
